The Golden Heterojunction Cell production line's microcrystalline debut achieves a conversion efficiency breakthrough of over 24.5%.

On the evening of April 9, 2022, the Golden Glass Heterojunction Cell project team delivered exciting news. Through the combined efforts of the Golden Cell Technology team and the Maiwei Golden Project Technology team, the Golden Heterojunction Cell production line's microcrystalline debut achieved a conversion efficiency breakthrough of over 24.5%.

Since March 12, 2022, when the Golden Glass 210 Heterojunction Cell production line was fully connected, it has been three weeks. During this time, the technical teams from both Golden Glass and Maiwei companies have worked in harmony. They optimized the basic production conditions for stable microcrystalline production and achieved a conversion efficiency of 24.28% in the initial phase. Subsequently, they overcame various challenges to fine-tune the microcrystalline process for the CVD equipment on the 210 Heterojunction Cell production line.

Recently, they achieved the first round of optimization for the microcrystalline process parameters. On the evening of April 9th, the production line successfully achieved a breakthrough in the highest cell conversion efficiency, exceeding 24.5%, with an average close to 24.3%. This outstanding achievement is not only the result of the joint efforts of both technical teams but also reflects the immense potential for improving conversion efficiency in the first mass-produced microcrystalline production line pioneered by Maiwei.

Next, the two technical teams will rapidly engage in the second round of production parameter optimization and aim for higher goals. As the parameters of the production line continue to stabilize and various performance indicators, including yield, gradually improve, the Golden Glass Heterojunction Cell production line has begun preparations for formal mass production.
