Steady as She Goes--Golden Glass Successfully Passes QMS Audit by REC Company

Recently, the photovoltaic solar energy company REC Corporation dispatched an audit expert team to conduct a two-day online Quality Management System (QMS) audit of Golden Glass. Our Vice General Manager, Zhao Zhongkui, and the Head of Quality Department at the Photovoltaic Manufacturing Center, Yang Fuqiang, among others, attended the audit and accompanied the process throughout.

This year, Golden Glass had the privilege of being shortlisted as one of their top supplier candidates. However, due to the impact of the pandemic, the expert panel had to conduct supplier evaluations remotely. During this audit, the expert panel conducted remote assessments of Golden Glass in various aspects, including the Quality Management System (QMS), process capabilities, equipment and facilities, personnel qualifications, measurement tools, and reliability verification. They also reviewed various aspects of documentation preparation, record-keeping, supplier evaluations, corrective and preventive actions, equipment maintenance, and more. They provided improvement suggestions based on the results of these assessments. Through product presentations, online discussions, and document verification, the expert panel expressed overall satisfaction with our QMS audit, and the audit process was successfully completed.
